Adult Karate Programs
At Plano Dojo, our students build better lives through the study of Karate. Important traits such as: Courtesy, Integrity, Humility, Balance, Self Control, Teamwork, Respect, Fitness, and Leadership are fostered in all of our martial arts programs.
We are fortunate to have our practical application of Karate for self-defense come from our experts in law enforcement. Chief Instructor Brody Burns was 13 years Grand Prairie PD and has now spent over 20 years in Federal Law Enforcement. He teaches officer survival to new and longtime federal agents and brings this expertise to the Academy of Classical Karate! Senpai Cesar Colunga after growing up here at Plano Dojo recently achieved his dream of becoming a police officer. Currently serving the city of Irving, Senpai Colunga is also involved with SWAT. We are proud of his accomplishments and thankful he is involved in our adult karate programs! At the Academy of Classical Karate, you don’t have to sacrifice any of the benefits of martial arts. Here you get the Art, Exercise, Mindfulness, and Self-Defense all packed into too short of an hour class!
